This album is nine years worth of demos compiled from different 4 track tapes from when I started living in Denver back in 2014. Most of these are songs/sketches I've never put out before but I thought were kinda cool and interesting in their diversity and energy. A lot of stuff was left off. Some of them were demos of songs I've already put out as complete recordings, some I didn't think were particularly interesting. There's one demo from a song that's already out from my first solo record, "Primitive Special" which I thought was charming in its own way. What I wanted to do with this release was to create an "album" of demos that could stand on its own as an "album" and be fairly listenable, or at least I would hope so! I really just enjoy making songs in forms that Ive never done before and in different styles and modes, as you can tell, a quality I really enjoy in my favorite records. I hope you have as much fun listening to them as I did making them. Explore everything and have fun above all else!
